Looking back on Jillian and Dale's wedding, I'm still blown away by it. Every detail was absolutely perfect. The wedding took place at the very southern Oak Island Event Center. Located just south of Birmingham on Lay Lake, this spectacular venue will knock your socks off. It is literally on an island with water on all sides making for a 360 view of the water. And that is just the outside. The interior boasts a large staircase with beautiful chandeliers and southern charm.
The Bride and Groom were planning an outdoor ceremony, but opted to move it indoors when rain threatened. The bride has a background in planning and hospitality so she had every detail covered. Tara from Any Reason to Plan did an awesome job helping her execute the day. And boy did they pull it off! The flowers by Debra Napier were absolutely stunning. She incorporated the brides favorite flower, the buttercup, along with roses and peonies. The greenery was fresh eucalyptus leaves. The flowers were among the most beautiful I've ever seen. The cake was made by Savory Solutions Catering as well as the meal. The bride and groom also added a donut station for guests to enjoy. Who doesn't love donuts? DJ Michael Warren kept the part rocking with upbeat music that kept the dance floor full. Of course, we can’t help to mention the glam team from The Glow App that kept the bride looking stunning all day long.
Jillian and Dale, I hope you enjoy your wedding day memories for a lifetime. It was a beautiful day.
