Huntsville AL Wedding Photography (Stephanie + Cody at Hampton Cove Wedding Plantation)

Talk about the sweetest couple on the planet! Stephanie and Cody we so refreshing with their laid-back, genuine, caring personalities. On a personal note mine and Stephanie’s mothers go way back with a 50 year friendship. Stephanie’s mother, Beckie, was actually a bridesmaid in my parent's wedding. ( Did you follow that.lol) Needless to say it was one of those full circle situations and I was so honored to be a part of it.

So let me set the stage for you..the venue was the always beautiful Hampton Cove Plantation. Carla, Heather and their team are always amazing to work with and this wedding was no different. Both Stephanie and Cody are big into the Rodeo circuit, so the horse stable with their guests wearing cowboy hats and boots transported me right to Texas.

The weather was just about perfect under the big shade trees all around the venue property. The bride’s mother was a florist many years ago so she fell right back into her comfort zone and took care of all the archway flowers. Stephanie’s dress was absolutely perfect. She totally brought it to life with her sweet smile and killer curves. The food included shrimp and brisket sliders that the guests really enjoyed by Slap Your Mama catering. Slap Your Mama also did the beautiful bouquets. Batter Up Cakes made their yummy all white cake and the groom’s table had cheesecake. City Beats DJ’s kept the party going and of course when they played “I cross my Heart” by George Strait I got a little misty eyed because that is mine and my husbands song. There was definitely love in the air at this one. While I was shooting the ceremony, I spotted one older couple sweetly reach for each others hands. Another couple fed each other cheese cake. What a sweet perfect day..so honored that I got to be a part of it..Congrats Stephanie and Cody!!!
